Jesus was a master storyteller and often taught in parables. In this sermon by Pastor Cean Williard, we look at the Parable of the Soils. In Luke 8:4-15, Jesus teaches a large crowd about a sower, some seeds, and four different types of soil. Jesus then calls out to those listening, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." Jesus' teaching ought to cause us to reflect on the condition of our heart and ask, are we hard hearted towards God, shallow, or distracted by the cares and riches of life? Or are we good soil, receptive to His word? We ought to be a people who, hearing the word of God, receive it our hearts, and allow it to produce fruitfulness for His Kingdom.
