Jesus opens the road to paradise. Do we get it? He gets us, but do we get him? The people who get Jesus are not the usual suspects, but those who do get Jesus see his innocence and his absolute authority. The death of Jesus tears the curtain in the temple, and the kingdom of God, paradise is open for business. Jesus is the temple and the road to paradise.
