Parag Agrawal will take over as the new Twitter Chief Executive Officer following Monday’s stepping down of co-founder Jack Dorsey from the position. 
Dorsey in a statement says he decided to leave Twitter because the company is ready to move on from its founders.
He says his trust in Parag as Twitter’s CEO is deep.
Dorsey will remain a member of the board until his term expires at the 2022 meeting of stockholders.
