The Flannan Isles Lighthouse is a lighthouse near the highest point on Eilean Mòr, off the west coast of mainland Scotland... and while it is a beautiful little island, it is best known for the mysterious disappearance of its keepers in 1900. The first record that something was wrong on  Flannan Isles was when the steamer Archtor was on a trip from Philadelphia to Leith on December 15th, 1900 . The ship noted in the log that the light was "not operational in poor weather conditions." On December 26th, a relief team was sent to the lighthouse, and that's when they noticed some really weird things. Did the keepers just get caught in a freak storm or was there something more at play...
