If you subscribe to our YouTube channel, you may have watched a video called the Mandela Effect: Alternate Reality Evidence? So what is the Mandela effect? The Mandela Effect is described as what happens when someone has a clear memory of something that never happened in this reality. Have you ever remembered the details of something, an event, a title or even a line in a movie and find that it is different in history? That books, newspaper articles, even the same movie where you remember the lines from are different?

There is a growing number of people who believe that parallel realities exist and somehow we have been “sliding between them without realizing it”.  Sound too unbelievable to be true? Well we have begun to notice some things that are different in our own memories and it is mind blowing. Is this theory a reality and what could cause such a thing to happen?  Next Friday night we are going to look at this thing called the Mandela Effect and its implications on our world. Is this a discovery that can open the doors to knowledge, is it much more sinister in nature, or is it just a figment of our imagination?

This year we saw a televised exorcism of a home on television. This wasn’t the first time something like this was seen on TV. In 1971 you didn’t find quite as many people that believed in the paranormal. In fact there were very few who would admit they did publicly. 24 yr. old Ed Becker bought a 2 flat for himself and his wife. The couple was awaiting the birth of their child. What they didn’t expect was that the home that they had just bought already had tenants living in the home. The building that was built and occupied by a single family that refused to relinquish their hold, even after death. Investigated and verified by experts, this residence brought chaos to the lives of those who chose to reside there. Long before the laws of disclosure, this couple wound up in the midst of strange occurrences prior to the term 'paranormal' becoming a common description.

NBC filmed and televised the exorcism of the home. Edwin F Becker wrote 2 books about this experience. “True Haunting” and “True Haunting 2” is the story of what happened in that home and how it affected the people involved.  It is a story that will scare the heck out of you, because it really happened. Between 4am and 6am, an unknown maniac wielding a knife brutally murdered three of the youngsters, the fourth managing to escape with a fractured jaw and a concussion.

It’s time once again for Anthony and I to conjure up a spirit for communication. But this isn’t your ordinary spirit. The spirit we will try and communicate with has given Hollywood inspiration for such movies as Psycho, Silence of the Lambs and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I am talking about the infamous serial killer – Ed Gein. Will we get inside the insidious mind of one of the most notorious gruesome killers?

Edward Theodore "Ed" Gein

After police found body parts in his house in 1957, Gein confessed to killing two women: tavern owner Mary Hogan in 1954, and a Plainfield hardware store owner, Bernice Worden, in 1957. Initially found unfit to stand trial, following confinement in a mental health facility, he was tried in 1968 for the murder of Worden and sentenced to life imprisonment, which he spent in a mental hospital.

The body of Bernice Worden was found in Gein's shed; her head and the head of Mary Hogan were found inside his house. Robert H. Gollmar, the judge in the Gein case, wrote: "Due to prohibitive costs, Gein was tried for only one murder—that of Mrs. Worden."

With fewer than three murders attributed, Gein does not meet the traditional definition of a serial killer. Regardless, his real-life case influenced the creation of several fictional serial killers, including Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Norman Bates from Psycho and Buffalo Bill from The Silence of the Lambs.
