The Chase house is located at 698 Middle Rd in Portsmouth New Hampshire. It is located on the corner of Court and Washington street if you ever wanted to go visit, and it is one of the grandest houses in Georgian architecture at Strawberry Banke in New Hampshire. When I first heard about this haunted orphanage, I thought it was because the kids were murdered or died of illness or something because I guess my mind just goes to the fact that all the mental institutions we talk about were set up to help but the doctors killed the people; but the story here is different but equally as tragic: It has been said that one of the young girls who lived at the home hanged herself in her bedroom.
