In this weeks episode, we read Parasha Re'eh, which mean see. Moses continues going over the history of Israel after crossing the Red Sea. Among the topics that Moses reiterates, we find him addressing idolatry, false prophets, dietary laws, and the year of release. In the midst of these topics, Moses continues to impress in the minds of Israel the importance of hearing, guarding and obeying the right rulings and ordinance of YHVH that it would not only go well with them, but their children as well.
