In this weeks Parashah, Moses continues teaching the people the poem that YHVH told him to teach the people. This poem was to be a witness against future generations that could come and begin to break faith with YHVH. As a witness against these later generations, having been taught from generation to generation, the people would be without excuse when these things would come upon them. It ends with YHVH instructing Moses to ascend Mt Nebo, where he was to die and be gathered to his kin.
