With the 2021/2022 NHL hockey season around the corner, in this episode of Pardesi Beats Unplugged discuss our love for the good ol’ hockey game. We explore what drew us into the sport, how we related it to our identity as second generation immigrants, as well as our experiences trying to play the sport growing up. We also discuss the aspect of live sports versus televised events and share our most memorable in person sporting moments.

Pardesi Beats was started in 2012 as an avenue to connect the community to their culture and current events; primarily the youth. 
Pardesi Beats started as a music and entertainment show and then we launched Pardesi Beats Powerplay - our Sports talk show. 
Pardesi Beats Unplugged encompasses both the Music Entertainment show and the Sports Talk show, in a laid back, chill vibe.
