Ever wonder what your children think of you volunteering in schools? How does it impact them? What do other students think?  What are the advantages/disadvantages of having a parent involved in schools?

Punam's children, Maya, Kavi, Lyla, and India (MILK), come into the studio to share their experience of having 2 active parents in their schools. It was an eye opening conversation with them where we all learned a lot from each other (and a fair amount of sidebars that has been left in for your listening pleasure). 

Parents walk a tightrope of being 'too involved' and 'not enough'. The Saxena children's experience can help us be more cognizant of our own purpose and desires for becoming a volunteer.
