On today’s episode of Sundial, WLRN reporter Nadege Green fills in for host for Luis Hernandez. A bill making its way through the state legislature would require minors to get consent from parents or a legal guardian before they get an abortion. The bill, sponsored by Vero Beach Republican Rep. Erin Grall, recently passed through the Florida House of Representatives. Florida is already a notification state, meaning that a parent must be notified before a minor can undergo the medical procedure.
