Regardless of whether or not you agree with the decisions your adult child is making take every opportunity to express your love for them. This will be hard at times. There will be times when your gut reaction will be to criticize or condemn, because you can clearly see how their poor decisions are going to end. Try hard to swallow those negative words. Instead, choose to treat them as Christ did you when you were at your very worst.
