Elizabeth is married to Joel and they have two children, Lucy and Oliver. She discovered Lucy had diabetes at a young age and has had to learn how to manage and teach her daughter how to manage this chronic illness. In the process, she has also learned things from Lucy. She writes about her journey in a book called Onederland.
