His eldest child was assigned female at birth but around puberty suffered from body dysphoria which led to self-harming. Matt has gone down the rabbit hole to educate himself in order to help his kid navigate this journey in gender identity and shares everything from the the social and hormonal transition to his tough conversations with his conservative Catholic family.
