Dr. Hilary Brown is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto and a scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences. She discusses her new study about mothers with developmental and intellectual disabilities having their newborns taken away by protective services.
We also hear from Deborah Bluestein, a therapist with the Parenting Enhancement Program at Surrey Place in Toronto which helps parents with developmental disabilities.
