We discussed last week the toll that gun violence is having on our community and parents involving themselves with their children scripturally, emotionally and mentally. We provided scriptures to help with that and we will be adding a few more during this program.

We believe as parents, we need to become proactive and more involved in our children's daily decisions through prayer and yes, we must pray. When raising our own children, if we did not pray, the children would let us know that we forgot. So, the scriptures do have a far-reaching effect.
