Every generation always shoulder the burden of producing a contributing member of society. It's not a perfect process but we don't have much else. Byron and Zelda talk about their evolving relationship with their parents, look into choices that were made, and how society shapes who we can become. How much agency can we claim in ourselves away from our parents teachings, and how much can we attribute? They're both Jungians, not Freudians. So there will be no blaming mother today.
