We all know the names Shifra and Puah - the Jewish midwives that saved the Jewish boys, and many of us know the Rashi’s that explain that Shifra was named Shifra bec she was משפר - beautified the child, and puah went pu pu to soothe the child after they were born. 

While these things are what they did, why does that explain why they werent referred to by their actual names, Yocheved and miriam? The answer to this question is an important lesson we must teach our children through our actions.
