While we all know parenting is exhausting, we push forward knowing that there is a harvest to reap as we continue to sow into each season. Long after diaper duty is done there’s still a place for parents to stop, give their kids some space and take space for themselves! Adult children no longer need you to helicopter over them. You’ve worked hard to get them this far so give them space! Now is the time to take care of you while praying for them and being there to celebrate the good and support the difficult times. Galatians 6:9 tells us Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. So don’t give up! Stay in the fight and take time for you and your own marriage, goals, dreams, and calling.
