Welcome to the first session of our brand new series: Parenting Master Class! Designed specifically with parents of newly diagnosed diabetics in mind. We are going to be covering all the basics like glucose monitoring, lows/highs, etc and then diving into things like finding a good endocrinologist, building a strong relationship with your child’s school nurse, empowering your T1D warrior to manage themselves independently & embracing their diabetes, how to navigate letting your child go to sleepovers, sports, diabetes camp & more!! Today we are going to focus on making sure that you know that everything is going to be okay.
