The list of what men want

The list of qualities men think are important in a woman is short.  When men were surveyed, the top 4 important qualities included that they be good looking, have a sense of humor, be intelligent and have cooking skills.  It’s along the lines of the expected, but seems somewhat short-sighted.  Beauty fades.  With every child who comes along, there’s less time to devote to appearance.  Cooking skills can improve as time goes on, and those smarts and sense of humor will get sharper with age.  Men underestimate the power of a woman’s intelligence.  If she’s smart, her sons will inherit her IQ.  Smart women are capable of earning big bucks, but men think beauty is #1 and smarts rank at #3.  A sense of humor, ranked at #2, is related to strong intelligence, so, it’s a two-fer.  If men choose beauty over all other qualities, they’ll have to live with that decision.
