Many people won’t date you because of your pet

Aren’t we a nation of pet lovers?  We’re wild about our dogs and we’re gaga over our cats, but oh no.  25% of us won’t date you if you have a pet.  And, women aren’t as thrilled to make a date with you, pal, if you have a cat.  If you pose on a dating site with your favorite feline, women will swipe left, meaning they want no part of you.  No part.  A study was done to determine if women were more attracted to men with or without a cat.  Without a cat, they’ll consider you.  With a cat, they’ll reject you.  Why is that?  Because if you love your cat, women think you’re less masculine, more neurotic and frankly, less dateable.  Women want men with good genes reflecting traditional masculine traits.  Cats diminish that perception.  So, guys get her to fall in love with you before introducing her to Fluffy.
