Don’t know quite what to think about that first date?  Was he too assertive, monopolized too much of the conversation and rude to the waiter?  Did he give you the creeps. Get away. This guy has traits of the Dark Triad. He’s psychopathic, narcissistic and cynical.  Others may see him as protective and caring and that’s just what he wants you to think. Men and women are attracted to narcissism and men are attracted to psychopathic women because they’re usually attractive and shallow.  Evaluate that first date. If she’s protective and comforting, she might turn out to be possessive and controlling. If he’s assertive and direct, it’s a mask for aggression and rudeness. Is she passionate? That might be “code” for violent and volatile.  He’s condescending but plays it off as confidence. Observe. Ask yourself, “What could this mean for my future?”
