In this podcast I discuss Diana Baumrind's research on parenting styles, and dimensions of behavior related to parenting - and how they impact children's development.  Shortcomings of the research is also mentioned.  Concepts are typically found in an undergraduate level Lifespan Psychology course, or Intro to Psychology course in the Lifespan Chapter.
