Our kids are incredible. They push us outside of our comfort zones, they mirror to us the things that most need to be seen and accepted within ourselves and they show us a love, innocence and kindness that is hard to find anywhere else. But there is no question that parenting is the hardest thing you will ever do in this life.

Today’s topic is one that is very close to my heart. It’s an open and honest discussion about the joy and the regret that comes with parenting. In today’s episode we look at parenting amnesia, the fading affect bias, empathy vs sympathy and why we need to be more supportive of each other; and if you’re not a parent, I would encourage you to stick with me, because you are still such an important part of this discussion.
