I saw a thread post today.
A parent said he couldn’t control himself, so he hit his child and “it worked.” 😢 Hundreds of people agreed and they shared how they hit their kids too.
It breaks my heart 💔
Hitting a child is not discipline.
It’s VIOLENCE. It's ABUSE.
If that’s what we’re teaching… what are we really raising?
👉🏻It's okay to hurt someone when you’re upset.
👉🏻Love comes with pain.
👉🏻Grown-ups can break boundaries just because they’re bigger.
Please 🙏🏻 if you ever feel like hitting your child, pause.
Walk away. Take a breath.
And if you really need to hit something, hit a pillow, hit the wall. Hit yourself.
But don’t hit your child.
