Session 1 of 3: Parents as Culture Builders. Throughout the evening at the conference we heard about understanding Christian culture in the home, how to chastise well, and how Proverbs deals with the discipline that parents need and the discipline the children need from parents.
Bill Smith is the pastor of Cornerstone Reformed Church in Carbondale, IL where he has been since 2018. He holds degrees from Louisiana College (B.A. in vocal performance; now Louisiana Baptist University) and MidAmerica Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div.). His work is published regularly at Kuyperian Commentary and he recently released his new book, “How It All Fits Together”. He and his wife, Susan, have been married for thirty-three years and have six children, three daughters-in-law, and seven grandchildren (at least as of 2024!).
