Psalm 106:34-39; Psalm 127:3-5.

A popular cultural narrative surrounding abortion applauds the sacrifice of children for self-gain. The gospel of Jesus Christ reverses this narrative in it’s entirety. Parents are not called to sacrifice their children, they are called to sacrifice for their children. We find our example in Jesus who came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
