On a warm dry night in August 2000, during our visit to Paris we took an evening walk about the surroundings of our hotel including the Louvre grounds and one of the many foot bridges over the Seine. From the bridge we were able to see an illuminated Eiffel Tower in the distance and the brightly lit boats traveling up and down the River Seine
