Through studying Parshah Tetzaveh (Ex. 27:20-30:10), Maftir (Deut. 25:17-19), and (Sam. 1: 15:1-34), we learn that we cannot approach G-d with preconceived notions and prejudices and must be prepared through remembering and educating ourselves about our enemies and their desires to disconnect us from our Divine Connection.
