The forum at Mount Holyoke, organized by the Weissman Center for Leadership and the Liberal Arts as part of the Body Politics series, featured a discourse between Jessop and the Rev. Gladys Moore, the College's dean of religious and spiritual life and director of diversity and inclusion. As they sat on a pair of upholstered chairs at the front of the hall Moore asked Jessop, who now resides in Salt Lake City, to reflect on how she was able to overcome the brainwashing of the cult and in the process discover her "authentic self."
