Part 1. Interview w/a trans man living in rural Texas (Other Conversations, March 2023)
Part 1 of 2. Interview with a trans man living in rural Texas. We talk
about his being a trans man who hasn't physically transitioned but he
still passes, his early life growing up in the country and his self-ID
as a redneck, how he had to leave public school at a young age due to
harassment, homeschooling in a religious setting, his love of horse
riding and the Hill Country, his work on ranches and in construction,
the love of cedar and oak trees in central Texas, drug and alcohol
abuse, some of the farm animals we've raised and the starving horses he
rescued, being an isolated trans person, how lesbians sometimes hate
trans men, his libertarian politics, and his pagan religious beliefs.
We go on a lot of tangents and had a good time talking since we both
grew up in rural areas.

In this project, I interviewed transgender, nonbinary, gender
non-conformist, agendered, neutrois, and intersex people who are
anarchist, independent, conservative, egalitarian, progressive, free
speech and gun rights enthusiasts, rural, religious, atheist,
voluntaryist, mutualist, apolitical, skeptical, constitutionalist,
classic liberal, libertarian, small political party members, socialist,
DSA, communist, radical, revolutionary, or have a mixture of right/left
views etc.
