In the first part of this podcast, we explore the role of emotions and pain in societal transitions. We begin with a brief introduction to the concept of "transition pain" and then delve into its manifestation across different societal sectors, using our research on farmers in Dutch agriculture as an example. We discuss factors that we believe can mitigate the emergence of pain during transitions. At the end of the podcast, we present a small reflection activity to help listeners immerse themselves in a transition and become more aware of the complex emotions that may have already taken shape within their lives.
Special thanks to TABOER, Zorg om Boer en Tuinder and LTO Noord
The podcast is produced by Sophia Zabul, Nona Freudenthal, Mae van Veldhoven and Khalid El Haji.
