Edmund Emil Kemper III was convicted in 1973 of the murders of seven women and one 15 year old girl between May of 1972 April of 1973. The media later coined the nickname, "The Co-Ed Butcher" and "Co-Ed Butcher" as his preferred victims were female college students that he picked up hitchhiking near the area of the Santa Cruz County, California. This man didn't just stop at murdering these young women , his crimes also included necrophilia, decapitation, dismemberment of his victims, as well as rumors of cannibalism.
This one in gnarly, you guys. That is why we had to make this one a two-parter. Within part 1 we will learn about his childhood and some of his first heinous acts.
