The House voted today to remove the deadline to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment, which passed in 1972, 1979, and 1982.The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reiterated it’s opposition to the ERA. Democratic Presidential Candidates have spoken out in support of an ERA extension deadline. Republicans have spoken against extending the deadline.
