A little rant on how the metrics of my podcast don’t matter right now and when I think they do it messes with my ego.  And a big “Thank You!” to those who are listening!  Part 2 is tomorrow.

Would you know if was late and I didn’t tell you when I was recording?  A couple things, today I address 1) People freak out when I tell them that I don’t care about the metrics of the podcast.  Tomorrow I’ll address 2) The stark awareness of the time it’s going to take to produce a summit. 

Do I know downloads and listening times?  I try not to pay attention and it can be, or is, a waste of time.  The podcast is part of a bigger picture.  Subscriber base is just a shiny object.  At this point it’s just luck.  Thank you to you people who listen, from time to time or all the time.  …And my ego gets crushed when I look at the metrics.
