Emunah (Hebrew for faith, belief)

Part 2: A conversation with Christian Author Becky DeWitt

Listen Later

Emunahs theme song Hold to Your Faith was

written, sung and produced by Apostle Victoria Regina Lockhart of Jersey City, N.J. founder of Club Christ Ministries.

In Part 2 of the interview with Christian author Becky

DeWitt, co-hosts Tamara and Charisse review a couple of her latest books that are part of a trilogy named Reason, Contempt and Sabotage. As the names hint, the characters operate within their own strength as they
weave through a multitude of trials. A preacher who prays is on hand to minister to each one with some accepting Christ as their savior, others listening to messages of salvation without commitment and a few rejecting the
ideas.

Some people they have all those things they want to

hold on to rather than being free in God, DeWitt says to explain the characters.

Referring to her personal experience, she adds, It

took me a long time to realize there were people in the church, and they werent saved. some people just come.

In this episode, DeWitt shares writing tips she plans

to offer during a course at Coastal Carolina University in
Conway, S.C. in October. The course is for people 50 years old and older.

You got to write a sentence so that you can get a

paragraph, she says chuckling. You get a paragraph and if you keep it up you might get a chapter. But you have got to pick up the pin.

The name of the course is, Write your first book. See

Your Ideas in Print.
