Major Evrod Warner is a black Panamanian born and raised on the Panama Canal Zone. He tells us his journey from Panama to the U.S., growing up and military life. Although not U.S. citizens, 1,000 Panamanians were drafted into the U.S. Army in the 1950's. Of the 1,000 draftees Maj. Warner became the only commissioned officer, became highly decorated, awarded the high honor of a Silver Star vor Valor during the VIetnam War.
