Listen Later

The students delivered a ferocious critique of King Shawa's presentation; describing it as radical, bordering hearsay, while one student said, "At what point do you draw a line in history". Nevertheless, Professor Renaldo stated that he appreciated the opportunity to share the perspective with the class as it is an important and interesting theory to contend with as academics within the subaltern. Furthermore, Prof. McKenzie re-iterated that "#history is a result of the varieties of human natures and circumstances, (Kant). The Lecture was delivered via Zoom platform at #jamaicatheologicalseminary as part of a class course #caribbeanthought, facilitated by Rev. Renaldo McKenzie, professor/Lecturer. #renaldomckenzie is the Author of Neoliberalism, Globalization, Income Inequality, Poverty and Resistance.

The Lecture is also part of a Lecture series by The Neoliberal Corporation: Caribbean Thought Lecture Series.
