Scripture: Ephesians 5:18-21

Is love enough?

There is an expectation that your spouse is primarily responsible for making your dreams and desires come true.

Carrying Each Other’s Expectations:

• Distance: Apathy

• Defeat: Resentment

• Division: Score-Keeping

• Deference: “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ” — Ephesians 5:21

The Gospel transforms me by taking away:

1. My self-centredness because it humbles me

2. My self-neediness because it affirms me

Marriage is a platform where your partner helps you become the better version of yourself.
