Last week we talked about how having low self-esteem can really make a mess of things, and unfortunately, it is not an easy feeling to overcome.
In today's episode, we talk about how to overcome those negative self beliefs and help you get to a place where you can honestly say and feel more confident. This could be in the way you carry yourself, the comments you make to yourself, how you interact with others, and just an overall improved mindset!
In case you aren't able to take notes and want to write down the steps, they are outlined below:
1. Let go of judgment and formed self beliefs
2. Recognize strengths and weaknesses
3. Embrace flaws
4. Celebrate the successes present and future- expect it!
5. Trust your abilities
6. Detach from the unknown
7. Take risks- listen to your intuition
8 Learn to accept praise and compliment others
9. Practice confidence
The first step is always the hardest, but when you are ready, that step will lead you to the next step, and the step after that, etc.
Give yourself the permission to start knowing that this is a marathon, not a sprint ;)
