in Houston, Texas. We discuss the Jewish community in Houston, their

place in the Jewish community as a nonbinary person, prayer spaces with

and without partitions, and being queer and nonbinary in the Jewish

community.

We also discuss how activism can affect our personal lives, how they

manage their personal life as a very public person, their role as a TA

in sex education classes, ridiculous anti-gay and anti-trans "no promo

homo" rules in Texas schools, book banning and how librarians push back

against this, their plans for college and working as an activist, how

drag bans could affect all performers and entertainment, the Drag Out

the Hate protest, and why they've contemplated leaving Texas.
