The concept of family being “everything” is one we are all familiar with. It is a message that is reiterated over and over again throughout our lives. While the sentiment of this message is important, the idea that family comes before all, including ourselves, can be hard to grapple with for many. In this episode, I give some clarity to the first discussion around this topic and share a few more of my feelings when it comes to this idea. This is a vulnerable episode.
