Mark graduated from Sydney University in 2003 (with Hons) and worked in animal shelters for 10yrs. He started his Ph.D. in 2012 under experienced vets Prof Jacqui Norris, Prof Richard Malik, and Prof Paul Sheehy. Mark is most notably known for his work in the FeLV and FIV fields. He has also over 22 publications, multiple presentations at veterinary conferences. Has travelled the world donating his time to animal welfare. He was also one of the founders of Pets in the Park. A charity that helps look after and treats animals for the homeless. Mark is also an avid runner in his spare time and enjoys running local 5km park runs to 100km ultra-marathons.
