It is often far more easier to feel sorry for what happened, than to say ‘I am sorry’. And it’s almost unthinkable in some cultures, for the husband, no matter how wrong he is, to tend an apology to his wife! And so we come up with excuses, explanations or even better, never bring up the incident anymore - until the next time that is!
