We often pray for God to protect us and those we love from things like injury, sickness, death, etc. And we should because He is our protector. But what about when it seems like He doesn’t? Sometimes His eternal purposes don’t align with our temporary plans and desires. Maybe it’s because He has a different plan for us in those moments. God never promised He would always “protect” us from every single thing. But He does promise that He will never leave us in our circumstances. And we can be assured that He is always guiding us and has a plan for us.
