Part 4 Asbury revival recording in chapel, the preaching, singing.
Listen to what chapel sounds like when I went, singing, preaching. All those joyous sounds. Asbury revival in Wilmore Kentucky. It started when my very good friend said I'm going to asbury for the revival,. Do you want to go? I didn't take long to decide and it was yes. She worked it out to pick me up and about 40 minutes later we're on our way. We had only seen what we've read on Internet, local news and what our local friends said about their trip prior. My own son had been and also been to his local revival, in his city. On the way there, my friend is playing Christian radio music. We're talking and lamenting those who declined to make this last minute trip. See my friend had been to her own churches service that morning. Mind you, she invited me to that morning service. Which I declined. It wasn't a all slight, nor a personal rejection. I had trouble at home and needed to stay, from my best judgement. That night didn't disappoint. Pulling up we come up a traffic congested small town scene, small college and we go to park. While in the car, and talking my other friends pulls up the tik tok reel about the girl who had a seizure and in that time another lady excorized the 'demon' and the young girl, released a shrill screech, that sounded horrific and non human. I am half in, half out about the existence of that demon. But, it's not for me to confirm or not. on walking up to the chapel s people are outside, in lines, in huddle s around poled warming stations. A sense of Healing and reverence is in the air. I'm happy to be with my friends. I'm here to see Jesus. I spent most of the night with tears streaming down my face. I saw different style of worship, humbleness. There was so much singing, from different looking people, all ages, other nationalities. Some crying babies where there, which is to be expected. There were some guidelines given out including please don't live stream, a couple of pictures was fine. There was preaching, a call to have Jesus come into our hearts by professing or belief in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. It was a massive unifying feeling in the air. I'm glad I went.
