Sometimes it can be hard to read the Bible...it can seem confusing, and even boring at times. We’ve always believed that to understand and appreciate the Bible more greatly, you have to know the context and the culture from which it came. The more fully we can learn about the original times and places the Bible was written in, the more fully we can respond to the power of the stories. As we learn the context and culture of the Bible, the more interesting it will become, and the more fun it will be to read. By going behind-the-scenes, the Bible will become alive for us, hold our attention, and finally start to make sense like never before.
