After getting advice from a mentor, spending a week at a personal growth retreat, and taking some time off work, I started a new chapter. I entered a new role at Lyft with more self awareness, agency, and intention. After COVID turned the business, and the world, upside down, I had to confront a hard truth: leaders aren’t prepared for what’s to come. In an experiment of surrender, I discovered my true calling: empowering others to lead from their heart.
