I also understand that it is time to shift away from these patterns and turn towards true self-care. In part four of this series, I help you identify how your choices around food may be reflective of how you are processing (or not) the impact the pandemic is having on your life. I get firm (with love) about how using food to avoid, distract and escape from having to feel and deal with the realities of this situation will only cause further suffering. I ask you to move from dissociated eating and create space for mindful nourishment that brings with it aspects of pleasure, joy and connection through food. I leave you with a simple yet highly effective plan that uses mealtime as anchors to create a positive rippling effect with all the choices we make throughout the day.
